The World Wide Web Radio Show, hosted by Mike 'The Webman' Walter and 'Digital' Dan Lampert is a weekly, 2-hour program that is syndicated into 53 markets across the United States. Overview. The World Wide Web Radio Show is a live, talk-radio show which features news, hot sites, tips, and special guests. Most of the show is unscripted and spontaneous. Listeners call in with their questions, observations, rants and raves about the Internet. The tone is always lively and positive.


Two Hour Format. Broadcast each Saturday, from 3PM-5PM Eastern or Noon-2PM Pacific, the show informs and entertains general audiences on all things Internet. Included in every show are:
  • The top Internet stories of the week.
  • Reviews of five new, hot sites.
  • Tips for enriching your online experience.
  • Special guests, representing major web companies and major companies on the web.

On-Air Technical Format. The show has breaks for national news at the top of each hour, and other breaks for advertising and local content. All ad space is subject to availability.

The Webman. Each week, Mike Walter blends the top Internet news stories with his unique style of irreverent humor. On topics ranging from e-commerce to politics, he reviews hot web sites and talks live with callers nationwide. Mike also interviews funny and provocative industry leaders, Internet reporters, celebrities, and noted web personalities. Overall, it's a two hours of relentless entertainment and information.

Mike Walter was previously an attorney, Sr. VP of Computerland, and President of a hi-technology consortium. Then he founded and became CEO of TuneUp.com, one of the first successful subscription-based online services. TuneUp.com, which was funded by The Mayfield Fund, was a runner up for the prestigious, Software Publisher Association’s CODIE Award for the Best Web Site of 1997. TuneUp.com has since been acquired by Quarterdeck Corporation.

Now, Mike operates PM Media, Inc. and produces high quality Internet and Internet-related radio programming. As host of the show, Mike brings many years of professional experience and technology-savvy advice to general audiences nationwide.


Digital Dan. The Webman's trusty, "all-flannel" sidekick is Dan Lampert, who writes the show's "tips of the week" and helps on technical issues about computers and the Internet.

Dan Lampert is a self-taught computer programmer, who started learning computers in High School and managed computer labs in college. Since then, he has become a software designer, a quality assurance/TQM specialist, and an author and speaker on multimedia in education and business. In 1983, he co-founded Techware Inc., a multimedia company which today produces CD-ROMs and high-profile web sites. In 1985, he co-designed Tutor-Tech, noted as the first hypermedia product available for any computer. In 1987, he created and edited The Stack Exchange Magazine, a multimedia journal. By 1992, Dan had produced over 50 national software products and contributed articles to national magazines. In 1993, he directed a $2 million interactive video product. And in 1996, he founded Daniel Lampert Communications, a consulting firm that helps companies create five-year web business plans and implement TQM and quality assurance programs.

Today, Dan is COO of LiveCode Inc., a workflow solutions company, President of Techware Inc., Internet Advisor to The National Center for Simulations, a $1+ billion consortium of simulation companies, Business Partner to BBN Planet Corporation, and President/CEO of Daniel Lampert Communications. As co-host of the show, Dan brings a wealth of technical experience plus the ability to communicate technical knowledge in plain English. He also writes the show's Tips of the Week, which enhance the Internet lives of thousands of listeners.
